Welcome to Government Polytechnic Balod
Government Polytechnic Balod was established in year 2017 with intake of 180 students in the three diploma engineering disciplines of Civil, Electrical, Mining & Mine Surveying. Institute is Affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai and Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi .
The Institute was established by Govt. of Chhattisgarh to create a pool of skill based manpower to support floor and field operations as a middle level link betweens technicians and engineers.
The Institute has therefore responsibility to the challanges industrialization for self reliiance as well meeting industrial demands in the state and the nation, and the faculty members of the institute are committed for this.
This Tecnical Institute provides students with practical, hands on training in a specific field of study in Civil/ Electrical/ and Mining Engineering. Hope, the students of this institute work hard during their entire study of 3 years in the institute premises and will prove backbone of the society with orientation of technical skills which the got from this institute.
